The Mindful Teen: Promoting Mindfulness and Resilience Among Adolescents

The Bixby Center is pleased to announce a presentation on  The Mindful Teen: Promoting Mindfulness and Resilience Among Adolescents, hosted by the UC Berkeley Global Adolescent Health Colloquium and The Center for the Greater Good. The featured speaker is Dzung X. Vo, MD, FAAP, a pediatrician specializing in adolescent medicine at British Columbia Children’s Hospital and clinical assistant professor at the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Vo will be discussing mindfulness: its scientific benefits, how it can support adolescent positive youth development and resilience, as well as resources including (but not limited to) The Mindful Teen book.

This event will be held on Thursday, October 8th, at Li Ka Shing Center, Room 545 from 4:00pm – 5:00pm.
