Ashley Fraser is an Associate Specialist for the Bixby Center for Population Health and Sustainability. She is a graduate of the Maternal and Child Health Program at the School of Public Health at UC Berkeley. As a graduate student and Bixby International Health Fellow, she conducted a survey on the family planning knowledge attitudes of Afro-Caribbean women in Nicaragua. Before coming to Berkeley, she completed international development fellowship in Burkina Faso working with Save the Children-US. Ashley received her undergraduate degree from UC Davis, double majoring in International Relations and French. Early in her career, she worked in domestic reproductive health rights advocacy and international programs promoting democracy.
