Dr. Ndola Prata, Scientific Director at the Bixby Center and an Associate Professor in Residence at the UC Berkeley Schol of Public Health, spoke at the ‘Population Footprints’ conference on human population growth and global carrying capacity, held in London May 25-26 2011. The conference was co-sponsored by the Lancet and the Leverhulme Trust and coordinated by the UCL Institute for Global Health.
There was considerable press interest in the conference, including from the BBC’s One Planet programme which dedicated a full edition to the topic on Friday May 27th and features interviews with several conference speakers.
