Summer field courses for graduate students and early career professionals sponsored by UCGHI

Two summer 2017 field courses for graduate students and early career professionals are now being advertised. They promote a One Health approach to global health issues and problem solving, and planetary health is a theme within each of the courses. Please share the attached flyers or web link below with your networks if you think they would be interested in applying, as deadlines are coming up fast in January.

Course 1: Rx One Health 2017

Interested in One Health problem-solving at the animal/human/environmental health interface?

Want to learn as a part of an interdisciplinary team working in the field? Do you want to gain skills related to leadership, communication, cultural competency, and field & laboratory assessments? If so, then this educational Rx (or prescription) is just right for you!

Course 2: One Health in Action: An Intensive Field Course in Sri Lanka

This three-week action-oriented field course is designed for a collegial, inquisitive, multi-disciplinary group of students in human health sciences, veterinary medicine, agriculture, nutrition, and social and environmental sciences.* University of California (UC) applicants can be enrolled at any of the 10 campuses.
