Center For Girls' Education

The Centre for Girls Education began twelve years ago as a joint program of the OASIS Initiative, University of California, Berkeley and the Population and Reproductive Health Initiative, Ahmadu Bello University. In 2016, the Centre became an independent woman led and staffed non-profit organization registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of the Federal Government of Nigeria.

From the Center For Girls Education Website: "By helping girls stay in school or gain a vocation, we work to delay marriage and use the precious years gained to help them acquire life skills, an education, and a livelihood."
